Okay, we've got lots of fun pictures to share with you here. Plenty of cute baby animals and interesting cultural experiences.
First, I had my first soap-making experience some months ago. After this success, I've continued to make more and made shampoo bars too! Here I am with all my protective gear:
And the first batch of regular soap:
A couple of crazy cattle-loaded trucks:
By the way, we saw a driver education vehicle and the name of the school was "Area 51 Driving School". We passed by too quickly to take a picture, though...
Some Ugandan fast food:
Here is a photo of the garden from June:
Then a couple from August:
And now, plenty of cute baby bunnies to warm up your day. When they were small, they were like velcro:
Now they're all grown up and there are five new babies!
Great pics. I don't understand how the bunny is holding onto your shirt while you are standing up. And what are you doing with bunnies, raising them to eat or are they pets?
ReplyDeleteBaby bunnies have very sharp little claws :) We have eaten one of the seven original baby rabbits (they are fully grown by now) and sold five of the others. The new batch are still very little.
DeleteWhat are the giant horns visible in the first truck picture? Surely those are not from a cow?!
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes, in fact both of the trucks are filled with Ankole cattle which have giant horns, then people on top!
DeleteVelcro bunny - classic!! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures ... praying for you both. God bless, Tim
ReplyDeleteAh, the baby animals!!!! I can't handle it! And your garden looks gorgeous.
